Welcome to the Midway Motel & Cottages' web site -- and thank you for letting me introduce myself.

My name is Sally Knisely, owner and on-site manager of the Midway Motel & Cottages. I live on the premises, and am able to keep a watchful (yet unobtrusive) eye on the day-to-day operations, making certain that the expectations of the Midway's guests are met or exceeded. This caring and attention to detail is one of the things that sets the Midway apart from other motels.

When my husband Ron and I became owners of the Midway in 1983, we were committed to upgrading the quality of the accommodations and features. Never content to sit back and say "good enough", we continually reinvested our resources and time in the Midway, "raising the bar" to enhance our guests' experience.

As for me, I am a hands-on person, enjoy every aspect of motel management, and pay extreme attention to detail. Prior to acquiring the Midway, I was the assistant to the President of Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Ron, a former Vice President at Spalding Sports Worldwide, founded a commercial real estate business here on the Cape, and worked with me in running the Midway. Although Ron passed away, his talent and craftsmanship is interwoven in the fabric of what makes the Midway such a special place on Cape Cod.

I am confident that once you stay at the Midway, you will be as enthused about it as our other guests, many of whom have become personal friends over the years.
